Greg Barron is the founder and current CEO of The Barron Companies, Inc., an integrated community of companies including Barron-Stark Engineers, Barron Bennett Architecture, G. L. Barron Construction, Inc., and Barron Energy Services. Greg oversees the strategy and direction from initial concept to final commissioning of value creation in properties throughout the State of Texas for The Barron Companies’ various entities.
Greg has obtained degrees in Finance and Management and is a graduate of Harvard Business School, The University of Texas at Arlington, and is an Alumnus of London Business School’s Corporate Finance Program.
Prior to joining the Barron Companies, Chuck owned and managed Stark Consulting, LLC. Chuck brings over 30 years of experience to his areas of expertise: land development, commercial site plans, and municipal infrastructure design and rehabilitation.
Chuck is both a Registered Professional Engineer and Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Science from the University of Colorado.
Mark has 38 years of experience in the design and management of engineering and construction for multi-state roadway, infrastructure, site and facility projects for municipal, government, institutional, resort and recreation, residential, industrial, commercial, aviation, healthcare and retail/restaurant concerns. Prior to joining Barron-Stark, Mark founded Resonance Development Services, managed the real estate development and environmental engineering groups for AECOM’s Fort Worth office, and oversaw land development operations for Centex Destination Properties’ Central Division.
Mark is a Registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Trine University.
Gordon was an engineering powerhouse in the DFW area for the past 45 years. He brought extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering and land surveying. No stranger to hard work, Gordon immediately took a position as draftsman after college with the City of Fort Worth Public Works Department where he worked 15 years, ending his tenure in the capacity of Chief Design Engineer. In 1967 he joined the Architectural Firm of Kneer and Hamm, changing the name to Kneer and Hamm Architectural and Engineering Firm. After two years Gordon opened a new firm to call his own: Gordon S. Swift Consulting Engineer, Inc. He joined Chuck Stark, PE and Greg Barron in a merger that created Barron, Stark & Swift Consulting Engineers, LP in 2012.
Gordon had the opportunity to help clientele with some 2,500+ engineering projects throughout Texas and in California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Alaska during his career, and his legacy lives on at Barron, Stark & Swift.
